The Katrina Warriors Network is the diverse body of individuals, affinities, organizations, and institutions doing work to support and enhance the well-being of women and girls in New Orleans and the Gulf South.

This site is communally owned and operated and relies on each member's unique perspective and participation to empower the network as a whole.

  • Getting Started
  • Member: You and each person that has a login to this space. Collectively we are the online network of the Katrina Warriors. Each member has a blog on their page.
  • Group: Organizations that are Nodes of Katrina Warrior Network. Also working groups that are formed for specific purposes. Any member can create a group. If you want the network to know about you, make sure your group is created so that Anyone can join. Each group has a discussion forum.
  • "Join" This Group: On this site, joining a group means affiliating with them so that you get their updates. You are not creating any formal membership relationship.
  • Forum is where the action is at. Start your own discussions or jump in to those that are ongoing.
  • Comments are visible to everyone on the site. You can send a private message by clicking on the envelope icon at the very top of each page or under their picture on their profile.
